This is a technique of manipulating soft tissue in the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face. The therapist uses a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate the head area in particular. Because the head, face and neck store a great deal of the anxiety that accumulates in everyday life, BTS clients can benefit from this either as a seated massage or included as part of a couch based massage.
