Massage Companies: What do they really do? As we all know by now there is an increasing number of massage companies around, particularly in Central London. Most of the time these are just one or two massage therapists giving their business a name. There are a few companies, however, who have many staff and therapists and are very much run like any other professional company. One of the longest established and most reputable massage companies is of course Body Tissue Service (BTS) which was launched in June 2000 and has grown by branching out from the luxury hotel market providing in-room massage, also called spa massage, to visiting private residents including celebrities and VIPs. More recently we also service businesses and events in London. In 2005, in response to the demands of our many clients, we added beauty treatments such as facials, manicures and pedicures to our menu. Another growing area is also Onsite Massages, or as some people prefer to spell it On Site Massages, for blue chip companies in The City or Canary Wharf of London. These can include many treatments, as long as there is sufficient treatment space available. The most popular Onsite Therapies are Seated Classic Onsite, where the client sits in an ergonomic chair, Indian Head Massage, and Seated Shiatsu, which is another wonderful treatment. Of course, it is also possible to provide facials, manicures or pedicures are in offices or at events. So what does BTS really stand for? Are we a massage company, a beauty company, an onsite company, a pampering company, a therapeutic company, a massage agency or a beauty agency. What we really are is a massage and beauty therapy service for home, hotel, businesses and events supplying outstanding therapists and developing unique and tailor-made treatment concepts. All our practitioners undergo additional training in deep tissue massage, and aromatherapy massage with our well-known product house Aromatherapy Associates, plus training in customer service. Short treatment courses are available such as Traditional Thai massage or Pregnancy massage. Some therapists also arrange their own training such as Lomi Lomi Massage or No Hands Massage training which they can incorporate into their existing massage techniques to provide an even better massage service to our numerous clients whether be it a massage, facial, manicure or pedicure. | |
