| Therapy From Around the World At Body Tissue Service, our highly trained therapists have studied massage and beauty techniques all over the world. We actively recruit therapists who have trained in the EU as well as other countries known for their level of excellence in spa education from Australia and New Zealand to South Africa. We recognise the benefit of further education in advanced spa services in massage and beauty. There are many opportunities in the United Kingdom for therapists who have received qualifications from these and other countries. Our therapists have training in a vast array of services from Pregnancy Massage, Thai Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Shiatsu, On-site, Holistic, Swedish, Deep Tissue Massage and many more. We also offer a full range of holistic beauty and nail treatments. As we greatly value the benefit of on-going education, we offer complementary training to all of our therapists. We have a number of therapists who have gained basic qualifications outside of the UK at internationally recognized schools. Some of our therapists have gone to Thailand to attain further education in traditional Thai massage. At BTS, all of our therapists are self employed and insured. In the UK, all independent therapists should hold qualifications and insurance for any services they provide. We are able to assist therapists in easily obtaining appropriate documentation in these areas. There are internationally recognized organizations which regulate training and education in the spa industry. ITEC qualifications are recognized in the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and other countries around the world. They offer 31 courses in the areas of beauty, business, complementary and sports. CIBTAC (the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) recognized schools are located in 18 countries around the world including India, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, China, Thailand and many others. Many other courses and organizations are also recognized in the UK to practice beauty, massage, nails and other spa services. It is important to achieve recognized qualifications in order to obtain insurance to practice in the UK. For therapists interested in working in the UK, the Home Office has recently issued updated regulations for foreign nationals who are interested in working in this country.
